Divya Ghelani interviewed on BBC Radio Leicester

Divya Ghelani spoke to BBC Radio Leicester's Rupal Ranjani on 20 February about her project collecting stories of the Cultural Quarter from the South Asian community.

Divya is interviewing people who lived, worked or socialised in the area, which was formerly home to many footwear and hosiery manufacturers. Their stories will become part of the Affective Digital Histories archive, which you can access on this website.

Divya also talked about other aspects of the project, including the Hidden Stories and Sounds of the Cultural Quarter apps, and the forthcoming 'Hidden Stories' book which will feature her work An Imperial Typewriter alongside other specially commissioned pieces.
